A neat and clean apartment is something everyone desires. However, to maintain this can be tough at times. Let’s help you with some simple deep cleaning ideas for your apartment.

Are you living in an apartment and dealing with limited storage space?

Or even if you own a luxury apartment in Kansas City, there are chances of being troubled with cleaning problems. Actually, when multiple people are sharing a living space, it is common to deal with such issues.

Below you will find some easy tips to help you maintain cleanliness of your entire residence.

Start With Your Kitchen

1. Kitchen is always exposed to dirt and grime. So, begin with the cooking space. Here you will have many areas to be cleaned properly such as a refrigerator, oven, and so on. Make sure it is clean inside and outside. Throw out old or expired food.
2. With the help of a microfiber cloth, clean the shelves and drawers. If required, you can use a gentle cleaning solution. For microwaves, use one part water and one part lemon juice in a microwave-safe bowl. Leave it in the bowl for 3 minutes, and allow it to be there for an additional 3 minutes. Later wipe off with a clean towel.
3. For the stove, it’s worth the effort that you can prepare a cleaning solution at home. You can use baking soda, vinegar and water to scrub it off nicely.
4. At the end, disinfect your countertops and sink for a bacteria free kitchen.

Get Into The Living Area And Bedroom

1. For this section, start cleaning up from the higher portions and use a duster to get into the corners of the ceiling. In case you don’t have a duster long enough, you can use the bristle end of a broom covered in an old T-shirt. Dust the crown molding and ceiling fans ideally.
2. Coming to the baseboards, which can be extremely dusty, sweep the dirt off and use mild soap scrub for the baseboards. Wipe it off with a wet cloth.
3. Use your duster to make your way around the room. Gently dust off all the wall art. Clean everything including shelves, frames, and other knick-knacks. Don’t forget to dust any door frames.
4. For the furniture inside, you will need a fresh duster, rag, and furniture polish. Firstly, use a vacuum hose to remove debris from chairs and couches. Clean with a duster and rag, followed by polish to make your pieces sparkle like new again. Then you can use a little fabric freshener at the end.
5. For bedrooms, remove and wash all of your bedding, mattress pad and pillows. Repeat this once a week.
6. Lastly, vacuum the carpet and mop flooring for an amazing feel.

End With Bathrooms

1. Simply dust the corners and walls first.
2. You can use a glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth to remove water spots from glasses and mirrors. Keep an all-purpose cleaner handy to disinfect counters and shelving.
3. If required, scrub the sink using distilled white vinegar. It works best for removing soap scum and dried toothpaste.
4. For your tub/shower, you can use distilled vinegar and mildew spray. Wash your shower curtain and shower liners.
5. Nicely clean the toilet bowl and wipe down the outside part before disinfecting it.
6. Finally, sweep and mop the floor.

Take up this challenge and choose a healthy living!
