Want to make your new kitchen functional, organized and comfortable after a move? All you need to do is follow some simple steps given here…

After relocating to your new home, organizing your kitchen can be quite challenging. Where to keep the pots and pans? What is a right place for pantry? Should I keep the dining table in the kitchen? Where to keep all the other stuff?

After all, the kitchen is a highly functional place in the home, and it is helpful to be well organized and convenient. With the right placements and arrangements, organizing your new kitchen is not a hard task. Here’s how:

Step 1: Identify the Main Area of The Kitchen:

The major area of your new kitchen includes the place where the food prep is done. Therefore, you should place items like cutting boards, knives, spices, and dishes near this area for ease of accessibility.

Step 2: Gather Your Boxes:

It is easier for you to identify the content inside the labeled boxes while unpacking. If you are not sure what contains what, sort through each one, unpack larger items first. Decide where to keep an item in the cupboard so that you don’t have it to move it again. The sink is the most used area and the stove is second. Place daily used items near these two locations for easy access while cooking. Keep the cutlery in the drawer immediately next to the sink, then place the dishtowels and clothes in the next drawer down. Soaps, detergent and cleaning items should be placed below the sink.

Step 3: Arrange Your Items:

Similar sorting methods should be used here too. Daily items like plates, cups, glasses and cereal bowls should be placed on accessible and visible shelves. Things with less frequent use should be placed behind more often used items or on a shelf above.

Step 4: Place Your Pantry:

Separate your canned food and dry food from other items.
Keep spices in a drawer near the stove. Make sure the place is cool and dry.
Label each item for a quick scanning.

With the help of these steps, it will be easier for you to organize your kitchen. Make sure to clean your items before using them. Enjoy making food in your new kitchen!
